In 2017, TMR sponsored a multi-year project under the National Asset Centre of Excellence (NACoE) research program with the aim of improving the understanding and design methodology associated with unbound granular pavements with thin asphalt surfacings (TAS-UB). This report summarises the activities and findings from the Year 2 of the project which include utilising trends of TAS performance as derived from inventory and condition data from ARMIS, an attempt to use data provided by local government organisation and the results from field testing of material properties of performing TAS segments.
