P144: Development of Laser Texture Depth Method to Replace Sand Patch Method (Year 1)

This report evaluates laser-based instruments for measuring surface texture on roads as an alternative to the manual sand patch method. The aim was to identify suitable instruments, develop a test method, and recommend changes to technical specifications to facilitate the adoption of laser surface texture measurements.
