Join us for an insightful webinar on Monday 22nd June that will present the findings from NACOE project P122 Improved Characterisation of Lightly Bound Materials.

The purpose of National Asset Centre of Excellence (NACOE) project P122 Improved Characterisation of Lightly Bound Materials is to investigate the key issues impacting lightly bound material mix design and construction.

This webinar presents the findings of P122, namely:

  • The measurement of uncertainty of UCS (unconfined compressive strength) test method
  • The correlation between standard and modified compaction for UCS values in lightly bound material mix design
  • The efficiency in chemical admixture in extending laboratory tested working time
  • Adjusted methodology for determining allowable working time of lightly bound material to better align with construction requirements
  • Findings from field trial
