Sealing in cold weather for Transport and Main Roads projects

One of the core elements of the National Asset Centre of Excellence (NACoE) is to share learnings about research, innovation and development projects.

Sprayed bituminous treatments (sprayed seals) are the most common type of road surfacing on the state-controlled road network and during construction can be affected by cold weather leading to premature failures.

Join us on 15 or 27 August 2019 for a FREE NACoE webinar on the new sealing in cold weather technical note (Technical Note 186) and sealing specification updates published in July 2019.

The webinar will focus on the new technical note and specifications, and how they will be applied to TMR contracts. If you are involved in delivering sprayed seals for TMR (through activities like scheduling, selecting, designing or constructing seals) then this webinar is for you.

How to register: There will be two webinars – each has the same agenda so please only register for one of them.  You can register here:

2 pm 15 August

11 am 27 August

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.

Participants please note – the sessions are Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). There may be time zone differences that apply. It is recommended that you connect to the webinar 15 minutes prior to allow sufficient time for potential connection delays.  It is also important that you check the system requirements for the webinar in advance of the session.  View System Requirements
